For the past 10 years, my life has evolved around the ocean and the people who devote their lives to the big unknown. I am here to tell their stories.
Discover the endless ocean and nature photography and videography experiences available to tell your story. Being a surf photographer and surfer in Hawaii allows me to connect with athletes and clients on a personal and professional level through a shared passion.
Some behind the scenes footage of the guests and crew onboard ‘Surya’ Surf charter August 2023. I was the only female on board with 18 men. 12 Brazilians, 6 Indonesian crew and one South African Surf guide. Honestly could not have asked for a better experience. Everyone was so friendly and excited to be there. As soon as we left the harbor in Padang, Sumatra everyone gathered on the top of the boat, frothing and enjoying their first Bintang of many. While the sun set and the last palm trees faded away the thrill of the unknown set in. As the beers disappeared the thirst for waves appeared. Coming to the mentawai’s is an extensive and expensive endeavor. These men have paid their dues and are ready to receive their reward. Check images above for surf and landscape content.

The ocean is my happy place. I will never forget the first time I saw a Whale underwater, I cried. I still cry of joy every time I see one. Theres a magical connection you feel when such a giant creature stares you in the eyes, completely aware of your existence and respectful in it’s movements in consideration of your placement. I could tell stories on stories about each of these images, where they originated and what experience and encounter I had with marine life I was lucky enough to encounter. I am forever grateful for the joys and lessons the ocean has brought me. My forever teacher!
